The Kensington Hotel offers 149 stylish bedrooms and suites within the cosy confines of this South Kensington Townhouse. Bedrooms and suites have been individually styled with designer furnitures by George Smith & Julian Chichester.
The check-in was extremely efficient and I was escorted by the Guest Service Manager to my room, a Luxury Studio Suite. He organised for a welcome note and amenities to be delivered to the room prior my arrival. I learnt quickly that the hotel proud itself on treating all their guests like Royalty…and after only few minutes there, I was starting to feel like a Princess !
The room was bright with high ceiling and full-length French windows over looking Queen’s Gate. The décor of the Suite was stylish with numerous luxurious furnitures yet it felt extremely comfortable. The stunning four posted bed added character and charm to the room.
The room was equipped with a big plasma screen TV, hair-dryer, tea
& coffee facilities and a complimentary use of a Nespresso machine.
The little seating area was so comfy that I sat to read the
complimentary newspaper given at Reception while snacking on the
amenities ! How stylish those chairs look like ?
The Bathroom was absolutely stunning with the free standing bath and incorporated plasma screen TV. The bathroom was as well equipped with an elegant Italian style shower, comfy sleepers and bathrobes. The hotel offers products from Aromatherapy Associates , the smell when entering the bathroom was just transporting….a call to relaxation !
After a wonderful dinner at The Aubrey Restaurant,
we returned to our Suite to find it had been refreshed, and
decorated specially for us with Rose Petals. Some evening treats were
left for us to enjoy as well. What a lovely gesture from the evening

The restaurant offers a choice of continental breakfast and a la
carte options. The pancakes with fruit compote and maple syrup were
delicious and the Egg Benedict…so pretty to look at and eat !

Situated on the lower grown floor, a fully equipped gym is at guests’
disposition with complimentary water and many machines. A treatment
